Henry Korngut ("Hank"), CDFA, CWS, IAR is Golden Gate Financial Partners' President and Managing Director.  Hank began his career in finance in 1988 at Merrill Lynch in San Francisco, and went on to spend over 15 years in bulge bracket investment firms, including Wall Street stalwarts like Prudential and Bear Stearns.

By late 2004, Hank was looking to break away from the limitations that existed in large institutional wealth management companies.  Eager to take what he had learned and form a more client-centric, boutique firm of his own, Hank founded Golden Gate Financial Partners in 2005. 

In his nearly 35 years of experience in the business,  Hank has worked with a wide array of clients, from novice to experienced investors.   He provides investment consulting services focused on the creation and growth of wealth, preservation and protection of wealth, and the enhancement of capital in a manner consistent with each client’s current situation, future goals and family dynamics.

Hank grew up in Northern New Jersey and relocated to California in 1982 after graduating with a B.A. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers College.  

Hank currently resides in Tiburon, and is the proud father of two daughters who recently graduated college.
